Shared Shuttle service to airport
Was advised that driver would pick up at hotel at 1.05pm Didn't come till 2pm. Contacted us about 20 mins after arranged time advising he would be another 10 mins. Another 30mins before eventually picked us up. No apology was given. Contacted me with mobile with russian number so not even sure it was the driver contacting me. Very very poor. Made check in/security very rushed
Not the best
Our trip to the airport was not the best. The driver was rushed and very distracted. We had a pick up time of 10:15 and he repeatedly called us and rushed us when we were out of the cruise terminal at 9:45. We were a group of 6 with 3 handicapped individuals so we move slowly. Out driver was rushing my 80 year old mother and speaking very rudely to her. Once we were on the road He was taking calls and not at all paying attention to the road. I know that New York drivers are crazy but he was driving in a manner that all the other cars were honking at him. The final straw was when he started cutting his fingernails while driving. I guess you get what you pay for because the price was great but I will never use this service again.
Stressful experience
I booked this to ease some of my anxiety the morning of the day I was set to leave. My booking was for 6am and I specifically asked to be to the airport by 7am. The dispatch told me that would be no problem. I was told I could call 30 min early the day of to get the name of my driver and the vehicle type I did that, and that’s where the issues began. I was informed the driver was running behind would not get to me till 6:25. That was ok, the driver gets to me then. We take off and he goes to the next stop and we get the next passenger. And then we get to the 3rd stop at this point it is 6:50, the third pickup person is no where to be found. The driver goes into the hotel for 10 min when he returns still no passenger. At that point I let him know myself and the other passenger in the vehicle need to get to the airport or we will not make our flights. To which the driver let me know he still had 3 more pick up (none of this was disclosed, the other passenger had the same pick up time as me too). The driver didn’t know what to do he called dispatch and gave me the phone the first person I spoke to told me there was nothing they could do. Myself and the other passenger were very stressed at this point. We spoke with someone else and after negotiating were able to get another ride. So we had to take all of our stuff out of the original car on the side of the road. We were left and had to wait for the next car to come. I was extremely late had to run to make my flight and was extremely overwhelmed with the experience. The dispatch let me know I could email the back office and would not provide the email when asked. It was very unorganized and not a company I will be using again.
