Itinerary
Starting from Madrid, we will head to Segovia, a small city that will surprise us from the moment we get off the bus. Those who have chosen the option “on your own” will be able to enjoy the city at their own pace. The guide will inform you of the meeting point and the exact time of return to Madrid, so that you can organize your time with total convenience. This option includes the entrance to the Cathedral, allowing you to visit it on your own during your stay in Segovia. For those who have chosen “with Cathedral and Alcázar” and “with Alcázar”, the guided walking tour will begin at the imposing Aqueduct of Segovia, one of the best-preserved Roman engineering works in the world, dating back more than 2,000 years. You will discover how it was built without cement and the route that the water took to reach the heart of the city.
Pass by: From there, we will walk up to the Plaza Mayor, enjoying the charm of historic streets and iconic monuments such as the Casa de los Picos, with its 617 granite peaks, and the Plaza Medina del Campo, where you will find the Church of San Martín, built in 1117, and the Lozoya Tower, which you can visit at your own pace and from which you will have breathtaking views of Segovia.
Once we arrive to the Plaza Mayor we will find different monuments that will impress us, such as the Town Hall, the Juan Bravo Theatre and the Cathedral of Segovia, where those who have purchased the “with Cathedral and Alcázar” option will have a complete guided tour of its interior. At the end of the visit to the Cathedral you will have some free time to enjoy Segovia at your leisure.
At the appointed time, we will meet again at the Plaza Mayor. It will be time to head towards the Alcázar of Segovia, one of the most famous and well preserved medieval castles in the world. The Alcázar probably reminds you of some Disney castles, as its exterior architecture served as inspiration for some of Walt Disney's films, such as Cinderella's Castle or the Queen's Castle in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Segovia Tour - Good experience!
Mariana was an amazing tour guide! Very insightful and kind! Would highly recommend
Don’t waste your time or money
Wow! Glad we went but extremely sorry we booked this half-day tour. Which ended up with two and a half, plus, hours of driving. And a little over two hours in Segovia. Rushing through the sights listening to rapid Spanish descriptions and difficult to understand English. Never knowing if I should be listening or ignoring. We thought a half-day tour would be in town for half the day. Plus the tour was way over priced for what you get. Very sorry this was our only experience in Segovia. 😢 We would have been so much better off just visiting in our own.
Fun half day trip
It was a great tour and beautiful sites
It was overall good. Bit...
It was overall good. Bit rushed, wished we can spend more time on the street with the shops. Also for inside of the cathedral, it would be good if it’s guided with some explanation. The tour guide was friendly.
