Full description

Your Seattle donut adventure begins in the heart of downtown, where incredible food, distinctive architecture, and the unmistakable energy of the Pacific Northwest come together. Over the next two hours, we’ll explore downtown Seattle on foot, enjoying delicious donuts while making our way toward one of the city’s most famous destinations, Pike Place Market.

We’ll kick things off with classic Seattle-style donuts from a beloved local bakery. These old-fashioned favorites are the perfect introduction to the city’s donut scene and a delicious way to fuel up for the adventure ahead.

From there, we’ll make our way to our second stop for a completely different take on the donut. Expect creative flavors and thoughtfully made donuts that showcase the modern side of Seattle’s food culture. One of the best parts of the tour is discovering just how much variety can exist within one seemingly simple treat.

As we continue through downtown, we’ll stop near the famous Seattle Spheres, one of the city’s most distinctive modern landmarks. Surrounded by glass and filled with thousands of plants, the Spheres offer a striking contrast to Seattle’s more historic architecture and provide a great photo opportunity along the route.

Next, we’ll continue south for another delicious bakery stop. Here, we’ll change things up with a sweet treat that gives us a break from traditional donuts while highlighting another side of Seattle’s impressive baking scene.

With plenty of sweets behind us, we’ll head toward the waterfront and Pike Place Market. Along the way, your guide will share stories about Seattle’s history, local culture, food scene, and transformation from a rugged Pacific Northwest outpost into one of America’s most recognizable cities.

Our final stop brings us right into the excitement of Pike Place Market. Operating since 1907, the market is packed with food vendors, craftspeople, produce stands, and plenty of Seattle personality. Here, we’ll finish with hot, fresh mini donuts made right before your eyes.

Come hungry and ready to explore. This family-friendly walking tour combines incredible donuts, sweet treats, downtown Seattle sights, the Spheres, Pike Place Market, local history, and plenty of fun into one unforgettable Seattle experience.

The tour was quite long and it was difficult to keep the kids engaged. The donut store was the best stop where we got to choose a donut. At the rest of the stops the food items were pre ordered and we didn’t get a choice which was a bit disappointing. I was also unhappy that the tour ended at a different location to the starting point - we were handed a map and had to find our own way back. Having never been to Cork before, this wasn’t particularly easy and we had to run to catch our train back to Cobh.

Kat was a great guide. The donuts were delicious and she also included a lot of history of Toronto. The walk was an easy pace and gave us time to prepare for the next round. She provided us with other places to taste Toronto food and there was time to grab some of that food too. We loved the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto!
