Traveler reviews
An enjoyable day out.
Lee was very helpful, especially because one of us had mobility issues. I think our favourite part was Dunfermline Abbey, followed by Rosslyn Chapel. Stirling Castle was just too big to explore in a couple of hours, though lunch at the Unicorn cafe was great. My only suggestion would be to include all entry tickets, as we never got the email about booking them beforehand, and had to scramble to book them online en route.
Hugh was very knowledgeable of the history of Scotland. And a veteran to the country of Scotland
Hugh was an excellent driver and tour guide. He showed excitement in telling all the passengers the history of scotland. As well as the lineage
What a great day with Dougie!! I have plenty of stops, plenty of sites, many toilet options along the way.
Dougie is funny, organized, and answers any questions. Lovely day with plenty of stops and sights, jokes
A good tour
Our tour guide had a lot of good tidbits of information as we drove along. The cost of the tour plus buying tickets to Stirling Castle was a little pricey, but the 3 locations and their history were very interesting. Dunfermline Abbey was a self guided tour, Stirling Castle had the largest crowds, but it was easy to hear and follow the guide there, and the guide at Rosslyn Chapel was excellent.
Great tour!
A great day tour of some key sights. The highlight would be Rosslyn Chapel. The tour guide Alex was awesome. To get out of Edinburgh for the day, this tour is well worth it.
