Your Savannah sweet adventure begins in the heart of the Historic District, where beautiful architecture, centuries of history, and one of the South’s most exciting food scenes come together. Over the next two hours, we’ll explore Savannah on foot while enjoying delicious donuts and sweet treats and discovering the stories, landmarks, and unmistakable charm that make this city so special.

We’ll begin with our first sweet treat of the day, the perfect introduction to Savannah’s delicious food scene. From there, we’ll set out through the Historic District, where cobblestone streets, moss-draped oak trees, colorful buildings, and picturesque public squares create one of the most beautiful settings for a walking tour anywhere in the country.

As we make our way through downtown, your guide will share stories about Savannah’s fascinating past. Founded in 1733, the city has witnessed nearly three centuries of American history, and reminders of that past can be found around nearly every corner. You’ll learn about the people, events, and traditions that helped shape Savannah while experiencing the city at a relaxed walking pace.

Of course, there are plenty of sweets along the way. Our next stops introduce you to different flavors and styles, from delicious donuts to Southern-inspired treats. Each destination brings something new to the experience, so there’s always another sweet surprise waiting around the corner.

Between tastings, we’ll continue through some of Savannah’s most charming streets and squares. Take in historic homes, beautiful churches, lush gardens, monuments, and the distinctive architecture that gives the Historic District its timeless atmosphere. There will also be plenty of opportunities to capture photos and get recommendations for more places to explore after the tour.

We’ll finish with one final indulgent treat, giving everyone a chance to relax, enjoy another bite, and celebrate a delicious journey through Savannah.

Come hungry and ready to explore. This family-friendly walking tour combines donuts, sweet treats, Savannah history, beautiful architecture, famous squares, local culture, and plenty of fun into one unforgettable way to experience the Hostess City.

The tour was quite long and it was difficult to keep the kids engaged. The donut store was the best stop where we got to choose a donut. At the rest of the stops the food items were pre ordered and we didn’t get a choice which was a bit disappointing. I was also unhappy that the tour ended at a different location to the starting point - we were handed a map and had to find our own way back. Having never been to Cork before, this wasn’t particularly easy and we had to run to catch our train back to Cobh.

Kat was a great guide. The donuts were delicious and she also included a lot of history of Toronto. The walk was an easy pace and gave us time to prepare for the next round. She provided us with other places to taste Toronto food and there was time to grab some of that food too. We loved the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto!
