Itinerary
We’ll meet at the central plaza of Salento, where your group and guide will gather to start the tour. Hop into a traditional Willys Jeep for a scenic ride to a coffee farm with over 100 years of history, nestled among the rolling hills of the Coffee Triangle.
Follow a coffee expert through the plantation to learn each step of the process. You'll get hands-on by planting seedlings and harvesting cherries, then observe the drying, roasting, and sometimes grinding of the beans most of which is still done by hand. Enjoy a guided tasting session where local baristas will teach you how to identify the traits of high-quality Colombian coffee while answering all your questions.
After a memorable experience in the coffee experience, we’ll return to Salento’s central square, where the tour will conclude.

Traveler reviews
Great experience!
We very much enjoyed our tour, friendly small family business. We were able to discover and understand all the subtleties of Colombian coffee! Great guide!
Solid a bit pricey for what it is
It was a very good tour. The guide explained everything well and the transportation was adequate. I think it’s pricey for the offering and less than an hour tour on the farm, but if convenience is a priority highly recommend.
Coffee making from bean to cup
Valentina was superb, explaining the whole coffee making process in a fun, informative and interactive way. Definitely recommend.
Coffee tour par excellence!
This is a family run small farm, beautiful scenery, really learned about the whole process from bean to coffee in the cup. Our guide Nico was very knowledgable, helpful and attentive, as well as learning about the process you get to go into the ‘fields’, and pick the bean, we were given a tasty plantain snack and we drank the coffee we roasted and ground. Fully recommend this tour, we were a small group of 4, so the tour felt very personalised.
One of the best coffe experience !
Stiven the guide for our coffee tour was amazing ! We learned so much about coffee and Colombia in general. Time was flying ! We get a coffee, then we get a little bit of history about coffee and Colombia and then we had the chance to pick up our coffee bean from the tree and after that view all the step to make a coffee from selecting the best bean to drying it, and then roast it… 200% and finally drink it ! I recommande it for friend couple or family or even solo !
