Grand Cru Châteaux and Wine Tastings
Your day centres on renowned Saint‑Émilion Grand Cru wineries, with pre‑booked visits for a smooth, worry‑free experience. At each estate, you tour the vineyards and cellars, then enjoy guided tastings of expressive, Merlot‑driven red wines while your English‑speaking driver‑guide explains terroir, grape varieties, and winemaking traditions.

We had Luanne( not sure if that's the correct spelling) she was brilliant. We could understand her perfectly & she gave us so much information that we did not know. Our driver was excellent. This is a fantastic company to use & highly recommend them. Thank you for a perfect day in Normandy

Our group of 5 ladies had a delightful day of wine tasting with Thierry in Alsace. After our river cruise was cancelled at the last minute, we pivoted and decided to spend a few days in Colmar. We booked the Full Day Grand Cru tour, visiting Domaine Kirrenbourg and Domaine François Schwach in the morning, followed by Louis Sipp in the afternoon. We enjoyed the small, intimate tasting rooms as well as the private attention for our group. It allowed us to taste and compare many different wines in a short period of time. There was some free time for lunch in Riquewihr, which was very charming and picturesque. Thierry was a great fit for our group - funny, informative, and a great photographer. We left with lasting memories and too many bottles of wine!

The 3 wineries and tours of 2 of them were great and very informative. Dulce, our tour guide, was wonderful and made it a fantastic tour!

Additional information

Please make sure your boat is docking in Bordeaux City center and not in Le Verdon or La Rochelle. These two ports are located more than 2 hours drive from Bordeaux. If you mistakenly booked a tour and your Cruise ship is not in Bordeaux city center, please note that there will be no refund possible.

If you want to share your tour with others, you can put it on Cruise Critic. Most of the time this gives good results. You must do this yourself as we are not accepted on their site as a professional business. We accept split payment transactions by credit card.

This tour is best for cruise guests who love wine, history, and gentle sightseeing, and who want a relaxed but in‑depth introduction to Saint‑Émilion Grand Cru wines and its UNESCO medieval village. It especially suits couples, small adult groups, and seniors/retirees looking for comfortable transport, a moderate walking pace on cobblestones, and a fully organized day ashore without the crowds and rush of large coach excursions.
