Trapped at the facade in an endless lecture—had to abandon the tour and lost $127

The guide was an absolute expert on Gaudí, but the tour was exhausting and overwhelming. We spent over an hour standing outside staring at the facade before even entering the church. This delay was not due to the lines, but because the guide refused to move from specific spots he liked, lecturing for 15 minutes at a time. Once inside, the exhaustion continued as he micro-analyzed every single mosaic and piece of stained glass. His knowledge is incredible, but his excessive passion made us feel trapped and completely overloaded.Eventually, it became too much. I returned my radio device to him, separated from the group, and finished exploring the church interior, museum, and gift shop on my own terms. Because the pace was so agonizingly slow, I completely skipped the second half of the tour at Parc Güell. This was a total waste of $127.00. If you want a smooth sightseeing experience rather than a grueling academic lecture, avoid this tour with this "tall, skinny and crazy looking guide!" Tour May 24th, at 3:00 pm, Group 2

Outstanding experience! *****

Outstanding experience! We had one guide in the morning for Parc Guell and then a break for lunch and another great guide for La Sagrada Familia! The entire day was the highlight of our time in Barcelona!

Amazing

This experience is absolutely stunning—don’t let it pass you by! Make sure to step inside the cathedral for an unforgettable view. Plus, finding the travel agency is a breeze!

There is NO air...

There is NO air conditioned motor coach between Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. Instead, you will need to walk several blocks down a very steep street and then HOPE you can get a cab at YOUR EXPENSE. NOT what is advertised on Viator.

The beauty of the experience is worth a little chaos

La Sagrada Familia should not be miss. Our tour guide Oliver did a wonderful job sharing the Basilica with us. Transition to the bus to Parc Guell felt a little chaotic as we walked 15 min to the bus. The bus itself was nice. Once we arrive to the park there was more chaos and delay in getting our tickets into the park and getting the radios to work properly. We had a different tour guide there, and he was a little challenging to understand as he spoke quickly and due to his accent, he was hard to follow. Though he was kind and generous, and a made a point to connect with the group on a personal level.
