Itinerary
Morning pickup from your accommodation in Cusco
Afterwards, you'll enjoy a typical Peruvian lunch (included in price) before visiting the fortress of Ollantaytambo and its main attraction, the Temple of the Sun. After finishing your exploration of Ollantaytambo, continue back to your Cusco hotel. Built using massive stones, each one approximately 12 feet (3.5m) tall, this temple was used as a fortress during the time of the Incan civil war.
Travel back in time to the Sacred Valley of the Incas with a day that begins in Pisac. This native town was once where “exchange transactions” took place. In this type of transaction, customers would exchange one good for another instead of using currency. Visit the market of Pisac where you can purchase beautifully crafted products hand-made by the locals. On Sunday, the main attraction is a mass celebrated in Quechua and conducted in Spanish. It is attended by the mayors and their attendants who play traditional musical instruments called "pututos." Traveler reviews
No control is tolerable
I tried to review you before, but it seems Viator wants and needs to control everything in these reviews. So I suggest you go ahead and leave a review yourself. I’ll not be controlled by a place that I pay for a service. ! ! !
Walter Diaz is the best guide we've ever had on every trip to Peru
Wonderful tour, super attentive Walter Diaz, explains very well, easy to understand the language in Portuguese which made the experience even more amazing. Walter is a first-class photographer (he knows even the best points, how to stay without shadows on the faces and etc.), took photos of the whole group, individual photos, all very amazing. I highly recommend.
Care of excellence.
