Itinerary
Pass by: Important Note: Every departure features 6–7 delicious stops through the charming streets of Trastevere, and every tour always includes a pizza tasting, a delicious sit-down pasta dinner, and authentic Italian gelato, along with other local specialties. Some itineraries may include renowned local favorites such as Spirito Divino or Da Enzo, however these restaurants are not included on every departure, and stops may vary based on availability to ensure the best possible experience.
Pass by: We will walk together across the Ponte Cestio, crossing the river and arriving in the charming neighborhood of Trastevere.
Skip the line at the most iconic Trattoria in Rome since 1935. Toast with DOC prosecco and savor typical Roman specialties (closed on Sundays; included on select departures depending on availability).
Deep beneath Spirito di Vino, in a cellar that predates the Colosseum by 160 years, you’ll savor wine and a recipe passed down from ancient Rome (included on select departures depending on availability).
Discover one of the secrets behind traditional fabulous homemade cookies with a visit to Rome’s famous family-owned cookie factory.
Visit Trastevere’s King of Porchetta, Piero Iacozzilli, and taste his mouthwatering roast pork paired with a delicious beer.
Try Rome’s favourite street food snack, the supplí, at a hole-in-the-wall Trastevere institution.
Twirl your fork into a plate of Rome’s most iconic pasta—Amatriciana and Gricia. Pair it with a glass of local wine, sit back, and savor the flavors that have defined Roman kitchens for centuries.
Taste the gelato at Fatamorgana, the gelateria that brought “gourmet gelato” to Rome. Learn the difference between the real and the fake gelato.
Pass by: We’re now in Trastevere’s main piazza, the lively heart of the neighborhood. Take a look around and soak in the beautiful buildings and vibrant atmosphere.

Roman Food Tour
Our Food Tour in Rome, 2026 Rome Twilight Trastevere , which started at 11:00am was so interesting, delicious and fun. Our guide Luca kept us entertained with history and the pace was just right. We sampled so many wonderful foods, and wine and the portions were not small. I highly recommend this tour.
Mate best ever!

A delicious and fun way to kick things off in Rome
This was the first experience that we had in Rome and it was a really fun way to kick things off. Rish was a fantastic guide - he was raised in Trastevere and seemed to know everyone as we were walking down the streets! He also made the experience really fun with jokes and little tidbits about the history of each location. All of the food was delicious, many of the locations had some really cool historical background, and we ended up going back to one of the restaurants on the tour for our last night in Rome birthday celebration.
