We had the best time touring the market and cooking with our chef! It was a delight to purchase and cook the ingredients. The food was fresh and easy to take home with us to do in US.
Gnocchi Plus with a Masterchef!
This was really awesome! A very different vibe the typical cooking class - very interesting and chill. You start off in Trionfale Market and it’s so fun! There is such variety of foods and you can feel the personality of the market from the shop keepers, whether they are serving you, balancing a soccer ball on their forehead, or calling out to each other. Andrea knows many of them and they obviously respect her. And before we left we were served an aperitivo tray that had fresh buffalo mozzarella in it with flavorful olive oil and wonderful & varied salami & prosciutto and bread as well! So after purchasing the fresh ingredients at the market for gnocchi and side dishes (which by the way she has you choose with her guidance) you walk to a sparkling clean, spacious and well-air conditioned kitchen classroom! There you create your meal under Andrea’s tutelage (while sipping wine or water). She great abt being the “guide on the side” and having you do the preparation. The meal is sumptuous to say the least. We’ve done any five cooking classes and this is by far and away the best! Ours was semi-private, they keep the classes small. Price is totally reasonable and the class was just under four hours.

An unforgettable and authentic Roman experience
We absolutely loved this activity from start to finish. The tour of Trionfale Market was fascinating, lively, and full of delicious local discoveries. Our chef Andrealetizia was warm, knowledgeable, and passionate, making the whole experience both fun and very accessible. The gnocchi class was perfectly organised, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and plenty of personal guidance. We learned useful techniques while enjoying a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Sitting down afterwards to enjoy the meal we had prepared, accompanied by wine and a lovely dessert, was the perfect ending. This was one of the highlights of our time in Rome: authentic, delicious, educational, and wonderfully convivial. We would highly recommend it to anyone who loves Italian food and wants to experience something truly special beyond the usual sightseeing.
