Long Waits, Poor Support, and No Basic Facilities for Children

We purchased the Maxi Combo pass 48-hour ticket from City Sightseeing Roma and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience overall. One staff member did try to help us through WhatsApp, and we appreciate that support. However, the ticket PDFs they sent were such low quality that the Vatican Museum staff had difficulty scanning them. The museum staff eventually had to take photos of the tickets themselves in order to scan them properly, which caused us to wait for a long time with unnecessary stress. The next day, another incident was even more upsetting. We were visiting with our toddler, who urgently needed to use the toilet. Since we were paying customers, I asked if we could use their restroom, but the staff refused. Instead, they directed us to a nearby cafe and told us to buy something there in order to use the bathroom. I was honestly shocked by this response, especially when traveling with a small child. Denying a toddler access to a restroom while we were their customers felt extremely unfair and lacking basic customer care. On top of that, the waiting times for their hop-on hop-off buses were much longer compared to other companies in Rome, which made the experience even more uncomfortable while traveling with a toddler. Overall, the service and customer experience did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend this company for families with young children.

No buses or signs

No buses… No signs… No one answers phone… no chat.. total waste of money and time. Save yourself time and frustration.

Don’t waste your money

This tour was not worth the money. We waited a long time for the bus to actually get going. We stood there for 15 min before the bus would open the door. Then trying to see what the recording was talking about was next to impossible. Half of the boxes for connecting the headphones were broken. I would not recommend this tour.

Can you make

Everything was fine. Very suitable for a first overview.

Not worth it, running is better

The bus is not suitable to see the main sights of the city, but only to get close to them. The bus takes a long time due to the heavy traffic. And the audio guide was so badly discussed that it was hard to understand.
