This food tour with Michael was probably the best food tour I have ever taken. ( And I have a few under my belt!) He is a wonderful tour guide in terms of his knowledge about the food that is not so over the top that you get lost in the details. But what you do get lost in is the deliciousness and his knowledge about what you're eating and where you're eating it. I highly recommend this tour when in Rome.
Prati Food & Wine Tour: A Revelation
I’m a veteran traveler, have taken many food tours over the years and count this tour among the best. To begin with, Michael, our guide for the tour, had extensive knowledge of the food and wine we were given and he was very engaging with all of the people on the tour. The food and wine we tasted were top notch and amounted to a full meal. Also, although my wife and I have been to Rome multiple times in the past, the tour gave us our first look at the Prati neighborhood, which, by itself, is a worthwhile experience. Michael was also very attentive to the dietary restrictions of the individuals on the tour and made sure that everyone was satisfied with the food and wine choices available to them. The bottom line, whether you are experiencing Rome for the first time or, like me, you are a seasoned traveler, this Roman Food Tour, will make for a pleasurable experience, especially if you want to acquaint yourself with the best local food available.

Great host very knowledgeable. Each course was delicious. Highly recommend this tour. You get a good size proportion with each place. Free flowing wine which was great. Host described each restaurant and their history in Italy.
