Full description
Reykjavik has become one of the most vegan-friendly cities in Europe, and this private walk shows it off with no planning needed. Every stop is fully vegan, every dish is included, and a local guide sets the pace for your group.
You taste organic Icelandic barley from one of the country's few organic farms, potato-based cheese from Iceland's only plant-based cheesemaker and kimchi from a small Icelandic producer. A seated plate of rainbow carrots follows, then small Icelandic tastings, and a warm stew and dessert with a drink to finish.
Between stops, your guide tells the story behind the food: geothermal greenhouses that grow vegetables through the winter, and how a plant-based scene grew up in a country famous for lamb and fish. About 2 km of easy walking through downtown Reykjavik.

My sister and I chose the Folklore Tour and would recommend to anyone, who is also curious about the darker side of folklore. Einar was our guide and he really brought the stories to life - many jokes, committed dramatic performances and a clear passion for folklore
Excellent tour with Kristin, informative and engaging, a great blend of history, folklore and mythology. A wonderful introduction to our time in Iceland and very lucky to see so many of the famous cats!
Maria G was punctual, friendly and very knowledgeable. It was very rainy and windy. She made the experience fun. I would highly suggest her as a Icelandic Food Tour guide.
