  • Children under 7 years old are not legally permitted to ride in TukTuks. This is a city law we must strictly follow for safety and compliance reasons. Therefore, if you arrive for the tour with a child under the age of 7, we will unfortunately not be able to proceed with the service, and no exceptions can be made.
  • This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate
  • Price is per person. Adult pricing applies to all travelers.
  • The pick up and drop off is included in a selected area of the city (city center). If you are staying outside of the city center, our guide will meet you at Avenida Liberdade 3. Kindly confirm with us prior to your tour the pick up preferences.
  • We have several models of tuktuks shown in the product pictures. Let us know if you have any preference for one
  • The suggested itinerary is subject to change in case of any special event in the city such as marathons, public events that make the streets unreachable.
  • The first picture is just an example of one of the three Tuk Tuk models in our fleet; it may not be the one you'll have on your tour, unless you inquire about a specific model in advance, subject to availability.
  • The tuk tuk fits up to 6 people - however for the highest level of comfort we recommend 4 people per tuktuk.
  • The TukTuks are equipped with transparent rooftops, allowing you to fully enjoy the scenic views throughout the ride.
  • For groups of 5 or 6 people, we offer two TukTuk models with different seating arrangements: either all seats facing forward or seats facing each other. If you have a preference, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly, subject to availability.
  • By law, we cannot take more than 6 passengers per TukTuk. For larger groups, you’ll need to book multiple TukTuks separately, ensuring they start at the same time on the same day.
  • Free rescheduling, refunds, or cancellations are available up to 24 hours before the activity. After this period, full charges will apply.
  • No large items are allowed in the Tuk Tuk (such as suitcases, strollers, wheelchairs, or electric scooters)
  • If the client is delayed, the tour duration will be shortened accordingly, which may cause adjustments to the planned route. Delays exceeding 30 minutes will result in cancellation of the activity, with no refund issued.
  • Our TukTuks have transparent rain covers, and we provide umbrellas if rain is forecast.

My husband and I really enjoyed our tour with Pinto. He was knowledgeable and thorough in answering all our questions. We are big history nerds so we asked LOTS of questions. Pinto answered them with patience and enthusiasm. He is also very welcoming and kind towards tourists. :)

A Fabulous Tour with Fabio

On our first visit to Lisbon we decided to take a Tuk Tuk tour from I Took A Tuk Tuk. What we didn't know was the treat we were in for. From our first conversation with Fabio, we knew we had a guide born and raised in Portugal who loved Lisbon and knew it's history. We totally enjoyed the tour from start to finish. Fabio's tour made Lisbon our favorite stop on our cruise. We learned so much and had a fantastic time. There are many Tuk Tuk tours available in Lisbon, but not all have guides who are born and raised in Portugal and love their city and it's history. I highly recommend this tour.

Tuk tuk tour through Lisbon

We had a great tuk tuk tour through Lisbon with our driver Tony (Antonio)! The highlights were the amazing views of Old Town Lisbon, stopping for pastries at Pastéis de Belém, and learning so many interesting historical facts and fun local stories along the way. Tony brought a lot of historical context to everything we saw and made the tour feel very personalizable to what we were interested in. Highly recommend!

Lisbon Tuk Tuk Tour

Our Tuk Tuk experience with Tony (Antonio) exceeded our expectations - we were able to see so much of Lisbon that we wouldn’t have been able to see otherwise & learnt a lot of key historical information that made everything we saw so much more meaningful. Tony was very personable + we had such a great time that the 4 hours flew by. We also were able to make pit stops at several spots, including a famous pastry shop that had the best egg custard tarts in the city (in my opinion). Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore as much of Lisbon as they can (while avoiding walking all those hills!)

What a great way to see the city

We had a delightful 4 hour Tuk Tuk tour today with Johnny. The only way to tour! We’ve been on walking tours, bus tours and van tours since we arrived in Lisbon. This tour was by far the most informative and enjoyable. Well worth the price!
