Private Street Food Motorbike Tour in Ho Chi Minh City

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our private food tour with The Street Food Man in Ho Chi Minh City was easily one of the best experiences we had during our entire trip through Vietnam. Our guides Catherine, Tuoi, Joyce and Phuong were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were friendly, funny, knowledgeable and incredibly attentive, and they made the four of us feel completely comfortable and looked after throughout the evening. One of the highlights was simply experiencing Ho Chi Minh City from the back of their motorbikes. We travelled through busy streets, little laneways and neighbourhoods we would never have discovered on our own, stopping along the way to try some fantastic local food. It felt like we were seeing a completely different side of the city. And then the heavens opened! We ended up riding through a proper Ho Chi Minh City rainstorm, but rather than ruining the night, it somehow made the experience even better. The girls handled it like it was just another day at the office, got us sorted with rain gear and kept the adventure rolling. We are so glad we didn’t cancel because of the weather. Riding through Saigon in the rain is now one of those travel memories we will probably be laughing about for years. What impressed us most, though, was the care they took with a serious seafood allergy within our group. This included avoiding seafood and fish sauce, which you might imagine could make a Vietnamese street food tour fairly challenging! Not for this team. They had clearly done their homework and made sure there were safe, delicious alternatives at every stop. Nothing felt like an inconvenience, and the person with the allergy was still able to fully enjoy the experience with everyone else. That level of care was hugely appreciated. The food was fantastic, the motorbike ride was brilliant, and Catherine, Tuoi, Joyce and Phuong turned what could have simply been a food tour into one of the absolute highlights of our Vietnam adventure. A genuine five-star experience and something we would recommend without hesitation. If you are visiting Ho Chi Minh City, don’t just see it from the footpath — jump on the back of a bike, trust these wonderful guides and experience the city properly. And if it rains… definitely don’t cancel. That might just end up being the best part! This tour was absolutely value for money. We were on the tour for well over 4 1/2 hours and we literally couldn’t fit in all the food. There was just so much.

We had the most amazing time with Street Food Man for our tour through Ho Chi Minh City. Our guides - Catherine, Chloe, Ray and Tim were absolutely incredible and made the experience so memorable. They were all very welcoming, knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough to make our experience better. The food spots were delicious, and they were able to cater for allergies and preferences very easily. We also loved learning about Saigon’s history and culture as well as enjoying the food! We would definitely recommend this tour to everyone, such an incredible way to explore this amazing city!

The two tour guides were fantastic, kind and considerate and very knowledgeable. Both spoke excellent and clear English. They had a great itinerary and the food was fantastic. The scooter ride was a blast in busy traffic.

Had an amazing time on the food tour with Tessie, Criss, Rachel and Clara. We loved the scooter rides and felt very safe the whole time. The food was delicious, there was a great variety of stops, and it was such a fun way to experience the city. A special thank you to my driver, Catherine, who was absolutely lovely.
