Private Silver Circle & Snowmobiling | Langjökull Glacier

Langjökull is one of the largest expanses of ice in Europe. On this version of the Silver Circle, you ride across it. After the full Silver Circle route — Deildartunguhver, Reykholt, Hraunfossar, Húsafell — the group transfers to the glacier staging area and ascends Langjökull by monster truck. At altitude, snowmobiles are waiting. One hour on open glacier. Wind, ice, panoramic views across the West Iceland highlands. No prior experience required. A safety briefing and all equipment — helmet, snowmobile suit, goggles — are provided at the staging area. A valid driving licence is required to operate a snowmobile independently. Guests without a licence ride as a passenger behind a licenced driver on a two-person machine.

This tour departs at 08:00 from Reykjavik and returns approximately 19:30. Operates best October through May when snow surface is optimal. Summer bookings (June–August) require advance confirmation with the glacier operator regarding snow conditions.
