Itinerary
Osaka Castle, formerly known as Osaka Honganji Temple (Ishiyama Honganji Temple), was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, rebuilt by the Tokugawa, used as an army base during the Meiji period, and rebuilt by citizens during the Showa period, all the while being tossed around by the history of each era.
The temple is famous for the Great Buddha of Nara. Officially also known as Konkomyo Shitenno Gokokuji Temple [Note 2], the temple was built by Emperor Shomu in the Nara Period (8th century) using all the national resources at his disposal.
Kasuga Taisha is a shrine located in Kasugano-machi, Nara City, Nara Prefecture, and is registered as one of the “Cultural Properties of Ancient Nara” on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
Relax during a one-hour drive to Nara, where you'll experience the serene beauty of Nara Park.
Horyu-ji Temple (formerly known as Horyu-ji Temple) is a temple associated with Prince Shotoku, located within the Horyu-ji Mountains in Ikaruga-cho, Ikoma-gun, Nara Prefecture, and was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (cultural heritage) in 1993 as “Buddhist Monuments in the Horyu-ji Area.

Amazing trip and amazing guide
Our guided tour to the outer areas of Osaka was delightful! Ayuri was punctual, kind and very accommodating to our family’s first trip to Japan with a newborn. Everything was well organized and very detailed . We really enjoyed all of the stops and history behind. Thank you for making this trip so memorable!
Extraordinary guide, great English, flexible, provided a magical experience!
Excellent on all levels … the best we have experienced! Yuko was kind, knowledgeable and very flexible for our needs. She provided insight as well as a cheerful environment in which to experience this area. She took us to a local restaurant which provided a Japanese experience we would’ve not found on our own. Not to mention her English is excellent and easy to understand We all agree, she has been the best tour guide we’ve had on our journey in Japan. I would highly recommend hiring her.
Adapting for disabilities
It was a wonderful experience. Yuka did a wonderful job of providing and adapting for my wife's walking disability. The driver and vehicle was excellent. He had been requested to provide a wheelchair, which simplified the day.
