Exploring the Shinsekai Area (Shinsekai Market → Tsutenkaku Tower → Billiken Statue) The "museum-like" alley offers a virtual experience of Osaka's center as it existed over 80 years ago. It's astonishing how much history you can uncover in this narrow alley, spanning just 1.2 meters in width. The artwork adorning the walls creates a unique ambiance, transporting visitors back to bygone days. Fun Osaka food tour with Tony
My family and I took a food tour around Osaka. Our guide was Tony (I wish I could give his Japanese name). He gave us a brief background of Osaka and its many names and history, such as it being the city of merchants. He took us all to a few places. First was skewers, second was Takoyaki, and lastly was Okonomiyaki. The food was great and so was Tony as a guide. He's a very knowledgeable person of the area and a great conversationalist. I'm very happy we had Tony as our guide and if you could choose a guide, I'd recommend him!
Great guide and great food.
Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. 3 people canceled, so my mom and I got a private tour, essentially. We had a fantastic time.
Great Time!
We had a great tour! Our guide gave us plenty of information along the way. Stopping at various different places. We had three food stops and had options of what we wanted to eat. Great to see the area and get history of the culture and food.
