Great Machu Picchu Guide and Tour

We did two circuit tours 1&3 of Machu Picchu with guide Samuel who was great. Met us T hotel at 5am and joined us on bus to and from site; enjoyed the history and conversation very much and his English was excellent. Made for an incredibly memorable day for our family. Good photographer too! Full House restaurant recommendation was amazing food and atmosphere over the river!

Unforgettable Experience

Our tour was well coordinated and executed seamlessly. Our guide Samuel met us at the hotel in the morning, traveled with us to the site, provided a thorough tour including answering all of our questions, and pointed out many architectural features and details that I would have missed. He also took some of the best photos that I have from my entire trip to Peru! Our tour was well paced and left enough time for us to reenter for one of the hikes (Machu Picchu Mountain) with ample time for lunch before an afternoon train back to Cusco. We went in May - the start of the dry season - and the weather was perfect. An unforgettable experience, highly recommend!

10/10 Highly Recommend - Ask for Samu!

We had an absolutely incredible private tour of Machu Picchu with Samu! From the very start, his communication was excellent—he messaged us the day before to confirm all the details, which gave us total peace of mind. On the morning of the tour, he was perfectly on time to meet us right in our hotel lobby.Samu is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and his English is fantastic. He made the history of Machu Picchu come alive, but also kept the day light and fun with his great sense of humor and personable attitude. As a wonderful bonus, he is a fantastic photographer and knew all the best spots to capture great photos of us! He was also extremely thoughtful, even offering us sunscreen during the trip.We were blessed with a gorgeous, sunny day and an unforgettable experience. If you are booking a tour, do yourself a favor and ask for Samu!

Amazing tour of Macchu Picchu!

We used Trex Experience for two visits to Macchu Picchu in early April. We booked an afternoon tour of the most popular Circuit (#2) on the first day where we had Samuel Flores as our tour guide, and we booked a morning tour of Circuit #3 for the next day to give us the best chance of good weather. If going in April (the tail end of rainy season) highly recommend this strategy as the weather can shift quickly during the course of the day and mornings tend to be rainier. Our tour guide Samuel was fantastic! He reached out via Whatsapp prior to our scheduled tour date, and even coordinated with us to have a colleague who met us at the train station, helped us get to our hotel, and even helped us find a spot for lunch before taking the bus up to Macchu Picchu. Jane and Samuel coordinated with one another to ensure our family felt supported from the momeny we arrived to Aguas Calientes, and all through our tour of Macchu Picchu. Once at Macchu Picchu, Samuel knew all the best spots for views, supplemented each stop with interesting facts and stories that kept our teenagers engaged, and even took some of the best photos of our entire trip. It was like traveling with a really knowledgeable friend who happened to be an expert photographer! Our kids are still talking about how great our visit to Macchu Picchu was, this was once in a lifetime type of an adventure and Samuel's energy, knowledge, patience, and support made it that much more memorable. Highly recommend using Trexperience, and ask for Samuel!
