Machu Picchu

Samuel was a great guide around Machu Picchu. He was very knowledgeable and dedicated to making our experience unique and memorable. He took time to educate us on the city and even had a pocket textbook to assist with visuals. I would highly recommend Samuel.

Amazing Machu Picchu experience with an outstanding guide

We had a fantastic experience visiting Machu Picchu with TreXperience. Everything was very well organized from the start: our guide Samuel picked us up early at our hotel in Aguas Calientes and made sure the morning schedule went smoothly. What really stood out was how committed he was. While we were still waiting for the bus in Aguas Calientes, he went ahead earlier to Machu Picchu to save us a good place in line, which made the entrance process much easier and less stressful. Once inside, he guided us through the site at a good pace and helped us with directions before our climb to Wayna Picchu. He was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. His English was excellent, and he explained the history of Machu Picchu in a very clear and interesting way. He also carried a folder with many pictures and visual explanations, which really helped us understand how the site was built, how it may have looked in the past, and what daily life there could have been like. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. We are very grateful for Samuel’s kindness, knowledge, excellent English, and extra effort. We would definitely recommend Samuel to anyone visiting Machu Picchu.

What a day!

The ride from the hotel to the train station was very rough, other than that is it was an amazing day and our guide did an amazing job. The weather was beautiful. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. He even helps us take some memorable photos.

What a sight!

Wow! What a sight! Our entry time to Machu Picchu was at 13:00, and the weather was great - some clouds in the sky keeping it cool for us, and clear views of MP and the mountains. There was a little sprinkle of rain, which was to be expected. Honestly, really great lighting for photos. We had an amazing time with our guide, Samuel. Communication was easy through WhatsApp, and everything was so well coordinated. He provided clear and easy instructions of when and where to catch the bus and to meet at the entrance of MP. Once we were at MP, Samuel was eager to share his vast knowledge about MP. Samuel offered an anthropological lense into the Incan culture, the history of the Incan empire, and the engineering feat of MP. He was also an awesome photographer. Thank you!!

Excellent trip to Machu Picchu

We did a tour with Samuel on circuit 2B. Samuel was excellent at telling us about the history behind Machu Picchu. We are in our 50s and Samuel paced the tour just right we hardly noticed how high we were climbing. Samuel took many epic photos of us he knew all the best spots. It started to rain and he gave us time to get our ponchos on. We felt like old friends by the end highly recommend. l
