Itinerary
Pick you up from the hotel at 5:00 am and travel 3 hours to the trailhead. Upon arrival, our chef will prepare a delicious breakfast with plentiful choices while you enjoy the scenery with a nice cup of coffee or coca tea. After breakfast, we'll climb Vinicunca for 2 hours (Also known as Rainbow Mountain). You can witness hundreds of llamas and alpacas and hike around the Ausangate Mountain range, Cusco's highest mountains. The hike is mostly plain with a gradual steep incline at the end, and you'll need a warm jacket, caps, gloves, and a camera to record the great vistas. At Rainbow Mountain, your guide will describe how the painted hills, Andes, and this mountain formed. After admiring the Peruvian Andes and the 360-degree view from Vinicunca, we'll take a 30-minute hike to Red Valley, a rarely-visited region with amazing views. Next, we'll return to the trailhead, where lunch awaits. Our chef uses local ingredients to prepare buffet meals. Return to Cusco around 5:30 pm.

Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Tour
We had the most perfect experience of Rainbow mountain and Red valley. Our guide, David, made it all the more memorable and we had so much fun with him. Breakfast and lunch made by the chefs was absolutely incredible, they did an amazing job and everything was so delicious! Breathtaking tour!
Abelardo was a fantastic host and guide. The mountains and glaciers were stunning and Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley so unique. Aberlado’s photography skills were first class capturing so many wonderful memories for us. We liked the ceremony with the coca leaves and all feel touched and blessed that a part of us remains in the mountains here in Peru. The lunch was superb with the standard and choice first class.
