Itinerary
At around 8:00AM. Your private tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and begin your journey towards Long Tan, a former Australian military base located approximately 90 kilometers (56 miles) from the city. Enjoy a comfortable and scenic drive through the Vietnamese countryside, passing by rice fields, small villages, and lush landscapes. Your guide will provide you with historical context and insights into the Vietnam War and the significance of Long Tan.
Upon arrival in Long Tan, visit the Long Tan Cross Memorial, a tribute to the soldiers who fought and died in the Battle of Long Tan in 1966. Walk through the battlefield area, guided by your knowledgeable tour guide, who will share stories and details about the battle.
