Avi Shaleav, the best your guide in Jerusalem

Avi Shalev!!!!!!Avi Shalev!!!!!!!! Avi Shalev!!!!! This is the tour guide to look for with this company BeinHarim. My mother aunt and I booked a private tour and was blessed to receive Avi. He is so patient, knowledgeable, thoughtful and professional but personable as well. I booked this private tour because I knew we would need to slow down the pace that you get with a large group heard them in and out your. But what we received exceeded my expectation. On my return visit I will nook Avi Shalev again and I recommend anyone reading to do the same.

Best guide ever Avi Shalev

This was truly a wonderful tour. Our guide Avi Shalev was so knowledgeable, patient, kind, thoughtful, respectful and genuine. I booked this for my mom, aunt and myself because I knew we would need more time and to be able to progress at our own pace. Avi was right on top of everything including keeping us mindful of out time with regards to what we wanted to see and do. I will Definitely look for Avi Shalev on my return visit and I encourage anyone reading this to do the same. Avi Shalev is his name

A very unpleasant and unreliable experience

We booked and paid the Bethlehem/Jerusalem tour in February 23 for April 23. The afternoon before the tour-day we got an SMS "tour cancelled". We called the office and the answer was: only 4 people. Imagine what it means: a tour booked two mounts ahead and the day before you got the information, that the operator cancelled the tour. And then, BEN HARIM credited only US$ 230.40 in stead of the paid US$ 240.00 - they deducted the cancellation fee of 4 %. BEN HARIM cancelled the tour and we should pay 4 % cancellation fee. Even we exchanged in the meantime about 10 mails, BEN HARIM is not willing to reimbourse the cancellation fee.

Frustrating waste of money

Arranged for a port pickup. Started off not great cause ship was late to port. Met guide, Moshe, about 45 mins to an hour late. We then proceeded to get lost in the port for about 30-45 mins. Then meeting up with guide for Bethlehem was problematic so by 1:30 we decided to drop our Bethlehem visit since no end of waiting in sight and we had done nothing yet except drive around. This was a full day tour. Went to Jerusalem and that was pretty good. Overall, for the price paid, it was a bust and would never do it again nor recommend it. Guide seemed angry that his tip wasn’t bigger which is laughable.
