Swiftly cross the border to Jordan, and embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive through the stunning and unspoiled desert terrain to the Lost City of Petra.
The renowned lost city, carved out of red-colored rock cliffs by the Nabataean civilization over 2,300 years ago, awaits you. As you journey through Petra, you'll encounter the enigmatic Djin blocks, which were once used to shelter desert spirits and marvel at the exquisite Obelisk Tomb. Walk through the colorful Siq gorge until you reach the awe-inspiring Petra Treasury, a grand temple adorned with intricate decorations. Explore the Petra Royal Tombs, channel your inner Indiana Johns, and snap some incredible pics at the ancient Nabatean Theater.
The return journey will be equally breathtaking as you take in more dazzling views of the wilderness.

Traveler reviews
Horrible, miserable, uncomfortable van ride!
Our one day Petra tour was advertised to be on a luxury bus. Instead, we were put on a small passenger van with stiff, plastic/vinyl seating that had absolutely no padding. The 3 1/2 hour ride from Tel Aviv to Eilat was miserable, as we could feel every little bump in the road (and the roads aren't smooth) and by the time we arrived, my daughter and I had excruciating back pain. We received false information about this tour, and when we asked for a partial credit to compensate us, we were offered a mere 10%, which didn't even pay for the airline flight we were forced to take back from Eilat to Petra. The Bein Harim representative I spoke with the day of the tour promised our ride back would be on a luxury bus, as promised. But, at the end of the tour it was the same small van - not the bus promised to us. Bein Harim refused to make it right. Don't book this tour!
Must see place
Amazing tour, great guide, kind service. Everything was well organized. Petra is definitely a place to visit if you have a day or two during your trip in Israel.
Amazing trip
The tour guide was very good he has a lot of knowledge and he is very nice. and the experience was amazing.
Amazing
The visit in Petra was amazing! Guider was very attentive and friendly, explained very well and walked a good path together sharing interesting information. Also the driver was very careful. The bus is also clear and comfortable. Great attendance since book until after tour!! It would worth to spend longer time in Jordan!
Very good tour in Petra
Very good tour in the exceptional site of Petra. Very good Jordanian guide. Fast border formalities. Good meal at the end of the tour. On the other hand, lack of time on the site, the departure from Eilat should be much earlier. If you really want to visit Petra, you should plan 2 days.
