Ok tour
When you get to pizza expect a long walk in the heat through a residential area from where the bus stops to the entrance to the wall city of Pisa. Not pleasant or enjoyable, but it is what it is unless you decide to take a small group tour or private tour then you can get dropped off right in the front otherwise, you have to walk about a mile in the heat not good.

Great trip. Perfect amount of time. Perfect distance on the bus. Which was very comfortable. Matteo was great.
Great Value and lovely destinations
This was a cruise shore excursion. Meet up in Livorno was well organized and easy. Small group on nice bus. Pisa and Lucca are not far from Livorno so travel time was pleasantly limited on this outing. Pisa was so beautiful, much better than I expected...a Tourist spot yes, but so worth it! Doesnt need a long visit if you just want to walk the area. This tour is too short for climbing the Tower, FYI. Lucca was a wonderful , unique town. Walk the wall and relax! George, our guide had lots of helpful advice for this "self guided tour", provided very good walking maps, and excellent communication for our meet ups. But actually guided us quite a bit sharing a lot of knowledge about both towns! This was one of the best value tours I've taken and also a more laid back one!
A pleasant alternative to pricey cruise tours
Great tour with the deserved emphasis on Lucca and enough time to enjoy Pisa. George is a great tour guide with excellent info and a nice dose humor which added considerably to the trip. Thanks George.
