After our guide picked you up, you will get on the road to reach Girona. The historical centre, where the remnants of its roman and medieval past coexist with the present, offering an image full of contrasts. With its beautiful scenery and Medieval atnosphere, it is no wonder that Girona got chosen to be the setting for several important scenens in the popular television series '' Game of thrones''.
Pass by: In the ancient part of the city, you will admire the Girona Cathedral. Built between the 11th and 19th centuries, it includes various walls and spaces in different styles, from a romanesque Monastery to a Baroque façade. Its most strikng feature is the 23 meters wide nave, the largest of its kind in the world.
We will stroll in the Jewish Quarter, one of the most emblematic spaces of the city. Get lost in the nave of alleyways and patios that maintain the aura of medieval times. It is one of the best-preserved Jewish quartes in Europe and an evident example of the importance of the Jewish culture in Girona.
Pass by: The colorful façades of the houses on the shores of the Onyar River, that goes through the city, and engender this warm atmosphere and symbolic images of Girona. You will also enjoy beautiful panoramic views, either from the top of the medieval walls or from the various bridges that connect the two parts of the city.
One of the bridges we will get to see while being in Girona, is one designed by Gustave Eiffel in 1877. The modern feel of the Eiffel Bridge contrasts sharply with the old buildings of Girona.

Great tour, highly recommend.
Our tour guide, Chema, was fantastic. He was very informative and made the tour very enjoyable. I would highly recommend him.
Very interesting tour of Girona
We had a great tour with Anatoli. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Girona has a very interesting history and is well worth a visit.
Fun and yum
This was a terrific experience. Go hungry! There is a lot to eat and it's good! We can't wait to try to cook paella at home.
Too expensive and uncomfortable. would not recommend this company
Our Tour Guide/Driver was very good and knowledgeable. Our complaint was with the car that the tour company sent . It was very small and we had 4 adults. VERY uncomfortable and we were packed in, One person had to sit up front and 3 averaged size adults in the back. The cost of $659.76 was Not worth it. Extremely disappointing and was not a good start of the day. The Tour was supposed to be 5 hours and was not. By the time the we were picked up and dropped off it was about 4 hours. Our other private tours sent a small van (mercedes) and was alot less expensive.
Ancient Girona
Luis was generous with his time and knowledge. He enhanced our visit with modifications perfectly tailored to our sensibilities.
