Traveler reviews
Great food walking tour in Porto
Maria was a great host showcasing the various foods of Porto in a mix of restaurants and cafes. The food was great and being able to get a deeper insight into Portugese food and traditions was great. I'd recommend.
Great intro into Porto food wine and history.
Maria was a great host. The food and wine was a great mix with .ore than enough to eat and drink. But the best part was her sharing some of the cultural history which made the tour far more interesting.
Missing ingredient: context
Not enough context for serious foodies, and overpriced. You’ll sample traditional foods/beverages but get minimal backstories on the businesses visited, food history or recipe variations.
“Small Group” was 13 people.
The group size was 13. This is bigger than my definition of “small”. The guide was good and the food experiences were good.
Excellent tour by Maria
Maria was an amazing tour guide! She was so knowledgeable and shared her information in such an interesting way that our group was hanging on every word she said. She also had a great sense of humor and answered all of our questions eagerly! Her tour was one of the highlights of our trip!
