Biased but eye-opening

Other visitors have said that this is unbiased. It was definitely one-sided, but that’s ok if you know ahead of time. You will learn a lot. It is interesting how the businesses, medical services, and fire department have served the opposing sides.

Disappointing by City Tours Belfast

Bad experience as City Tours Belfast changed our time 24 hours earlier. We accepted the new time but was not told it would be with 2 others and sat in the rear of a van, not in a black cab. Not easy to get in and out of the van and difficult to hear the driver’s comments. No apology or compensation given by arrogant customer service the next day.

An essential part of visiting Belfast

Rod presented an excellent balanced overview of "the troubles" and political tension in Belfast which included relevant photos, stories and suggested books. This experience is well worth doing to gain a perspective of Belfast's recent history. Thanks so much to our guide, Rod, who went out of his way to help with specific requests.

Fascinating and balanced tour.

Great trip, very balanced view of the Troubles from Jackie who was very engaging, friendly and was keen to ensure we had a great tour. Fascinating hearing first hand the history and seeing the locations that were prominent in the news reports. Really helps understands the complexities of the conflicts. A very worthwhile trip.
