The perfect way to learn about Belfast’s recent history

We were lucky enough to have Colin as our guide. He was very friendly right from the start and was clearly extremely knowledgeable about Belfast’s difficult history, having lived through it himself. He got the background across in a way that was easy to follow and took us to several of the key sites around and about the Peace Wall, on both sides of the divide. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and we would happily recommend the tour.

Must do tour in Belfast

This tour was exceptional. We did this on our second day in Ireland and it was this tour that sparked the interest of our 15 yr old daughter to know more about her Irish ancestory. Tommy was one of the best tour guides we have ever experienced. Extremely knowledgeable guide

Smiles and tears

This wasn’t my first time, as I have been coming to Belfast from Rome (in Italy) since 2011. I found this specific tour with Tony surprisingly different from what I have experienced before. He is passionate and ironic, and he manages to convey a lot of information in a short amount of time, in ways that are understandable even to people who know very little about the Troubles. He also gave us a lot of hope for the present and future, and shared his personal experience, which was deeply moving and explained much of how he is today engaging with this traumatic history and bringing it to others. Thank you, Tony!
