Full description
From the Renaissance beauty of Florence this trip whisks you off to world-famous Pisa – home of that legendary lean. A scenic drive through rolling hills and olive groves before you arrive at Pisa’s showstopper – the Piazza dei Miracoli. There you’ll meet the big three: the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral, and the Baptistery.
You’ll get the chance to conquer all 294 steps of the Leaning Tower. The climb’s a bit of a leg-burner, but the views from the top are totally worth it. Sweeping scenes of Pisa’s rooftops, rolling hills, and the river Arno. Your guide will share the tower’s backstory, from medieval blunders to modern engineering marvel, before your climb.
Next, you’ll head into the Cathedral and Baptistery. These Romanesque masterpieces are jaw-droppers, inside and out. And just when you think you’ve seen it all, there’s one final stop – Piazza dei Cavalleggeri. Here, you’ll learn how a young Galileo gazed at the stars and changed science forever.

Consigliato
