It’s hard to resist a glimpse of Michelangelo’s David – the gem of Italian sculptures – at the Accademia Gallery. On this tour you'll get to skip the line and visit the impressive Renaissance collection. The Tribune is where the gallery’s star statue can be found. The colossal statue of David packs a punch, created by 26-year-old Michelangelo from a solid piece of marble. It’s a revolutionary interpretation of David before the act of killing Goliath.
Step inside the Museum of Musical Instruments to explore an elegant collection of string and wind instruments including a one-of-a-kind Stradivari viola, decorated with the Medici family crest.
