Vík is one of Iceland´s most picturesque villages. It sits on the wild southern coastline, and is surrounded by magnificent scenery, including black sand beaches and basalt sea stacks. Overlooking the village sits Vikurkikja church, which boasts a studenous view.

We leave Vík and journey back west towards the capital, but not before two more essential South Coast hot-spots. First up is Skógafoss waterfall, a powerful natural wonder that leaves visitors awe-inspired.
