Itinerary
We’ll begin our tour in Chawri Bazaar — one of the oldest and busiest streets in Old Delhi. Depending on your selected timing, you’ll either enjoy a traditional breakfast like jalebis and parathas (morning), or hot snacks like kebabs and chaat (evening). It’s the perfect spot to understand local food culture and watch the old city come alive. Your guide will introduce you to the flavors, vendors, and history that make this place so iconic.
Explore Asia’s biggest spice market! You’ll walk through lanes filled with colorful spices like turmeric, chili, and cardamom. Along the way, we’ll stop for a cup of chai at a hidden spice mansion where you can learn about Indian cooking and the spice trade. The sounds, smells, and energy of this market are unlike anything else in Delhi.
Ballimaran is a lively neighborhood known for its poetic charm and tasty street food. This area was once home to Mirza Ghalib, a famous poet, and still holds onto its old-world feel. As you explore, we’ll stop at local snack stalls and pass through markets selling shoes, eyewear, and much more. It’s a mix of history and flavor in one place.
Take a peaceful turn into Naughara — a hidden lane with nine beautiful old Jain havelis (mansions). It’s calm, colorful, and full of history. At the end of the lane, you can choose to visit a small, quiet Jain temple (optional and free). This stop shows you a side of Old Delhi that most people miss.
This is the heart of Old Delhi — full of life, noise, and amazing food. You’ll explore busy lanes packed with shops selling sweets, clothes, jewelry, and more. Along the way, we’ll stop for more food and soak in the chaotic charm of this iconic market. It’s the perfect way to end your Old Delhi experience, full of flavor and fun.

Traveler reviews
Excellent friendly tour
Ana's was a brilliant knowledge guide Tour of old Delhi was much better than going there myself
The best way to spend layover in Dehli.
We had a layover trip around Delhi in May. I wasn't really fascinated by the New City (monumental Soviet style), but the Old one impressed me completely. Be aware of pickpocketing. Although we asked for a Russian guide, Neeraj, our english guide, turned out pretty well-known and patient enough. He recommended a traditional restaurant, there we had tasty lunch with beer.
Great experience
