Itinerary
Drive along the banks of the loch. We will stop in Luss to walk down to the water's edge for those all important photographs
Nestled on the banks of Loch Fyne, Inveraray is a beautifully preserved Georgian town. Its striking whitewashed architecture, fascinating jail museum, and stunning lochside setting make it one of the most picturesque stops on any Highland itinerary. Whist we are in the town of Inveraray you may wish to visit the castle. Home to the Dukes of Argyll, the castle is the seat of the Clan Campbell.
Perched dramatically on the shores of Loch Awe, St Conan's Kirk is one of Scotland's most extraordinary churches, blending Romanesque, Gothic, and Norman architectural styles in a setting of remarkable natural beauty. Your stop here rewards you with intricate stone carvings, a small cloister, and sweeping loch views that make it one of the most memorable hidden gems on the road through Argyll.
Perched on a sweeping natural harbour on Scotland's west coast, Oban is the gateway to the Hebridean islands and one of the Highlands' most charming coastal towns. From its famous seafood stalls to the hilltop folly of McCaig's Tower, the town offers breathtaking views across to Kerrera, Mull, and beyond. Lunch will be in Oban and time to try some wonderful seafood or perhaps a quick visit to the small distillery.
The Three Sisters of Glencoe are among the most dramatic and iconic mountain views in all of Scotland, their vast ridges sweeping down into the floor of this legendary glen. Your photo stop here gives you the chance to capture one of the Highlands' most powerful and unforgettable landscapes.
Tyndrum is a welcome Highland pit stop with cafés and the famous Green Welly Stop, giving you a chance to grab a coffee, browse local produce, and stretch your legs before the scenic drive back to Glasgow.

Traveler reviews
Good
Great driver, very informative , loved the route, just shame about the weather and the changed return route due to the landslide.
Well worth it
Nel was a very good tour guide. He knew the history of the area very well and had lots of stories to tell. We would not have been able to have the same experiences if we had went on our own. The weather was unseasonably warm and sunny too, which was a terrific bonus.
Excellent tour of West Highlands
Oban and Inverrary Castle were the highlights. We would have liked more time in Oban and fewer photo stops of various castles.
Excellent tour
Cameron and Neil looked after the tour group very well. Cameron was an excellent storyteller, he kept us entertained during the bus trip. Neil did an excellent job of driving the bus!
Good walk
Long walk up from town if your a senior citizen. When you get to the top great view over Oban. But no information on the monument when you get there.
