The Pali Lookout is also famous for its powerful, howling winds. As you stand at the Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout, you’ll quickly see why it’s considered one of Oahu's top scenic spots, feeling the wind press against you, hearing it whistle through the mountains, and taking in the stunning views of the island’s lush Windward Coast. Perched high above Oahu, the Pali Lookout holds deep historical importance. The word “Pali” means “cliff” in Hawaiian, and this site marks the location of the 1795 Battle of Nuuanu, where King Kamehameha I secured victory and unified the island under his rule. The intense battle resulted in the loss of hundreds of lives, with many warriors driven over the lookout’s steep cliffs.
The Byodo-In Temple is located at the foot of the Ko'olau Mountains in Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. It was established on June 7, 1968, to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii. The Byodo-In Temple in O'ahu is a smaller-scale replica of the over 950-year-old Byodo-in Temple, a United Nations World Heritage Site in Uji, Japan. Discover the serene beauty of Valley of the Temples Memorial Park, nestled against the majestic Ko'olau Mountains. Our lush gardens, stunning vistas, and sacred temples create a tranquil setting for eternal rest and reflection.

Circle Island Tour Small Group
Our guide/driver was Kilimi and he was congenial, punctual, knowledgeable, and very funny. He was also accommodating. We really loved the small group tour. There were only 4 of us and Kilimi. It was the perfect way to see the island!
Great fun tour
Great complete tour. Tour guide was great, friendly and knowledgeable. What I would’ve liked to know is they don’t allow bags unless they are clear. Knowing this I would’ve packed a clear bag from home.
