Traveler reviews
Good value, limited parking close to departure point
Our biggest mistake was planning our day in Newport on opening day of the International Boat Show. Parking was almost impossible and more expensive than the tour. The tour was a great value for the money. Great historical and cultural insights. We really enjoyed the stop off and pickup from The Breakers. We were slightly rushed to tour the home and grounds in the allotted time. The biggest negative was limited opportunity for photos on the tour, or at least quality photos. The windows on the trolley have a very narrow opening, photos with a iPhone were difficult.
Wonderful tour
This was a great tour. Our driver, Dominic was very entertaining despite being a Yankees fan. Wonderful way to see Newport. Dominic had great historic and current information about the area and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I highly recommend taking it.
Change out thevwindows to give a better view.
Enjoyable experience. Driver/guide was informative and helpful. The only downside was the placement of the bar on the windows on the trolley that obscured the views. They are right at eye level.
Amazing bus driver historian
Gave us an appreciation of Newport that had been missing when we toured it ourselves. Wonderful perspective of the entire city, it history and how it is today. Learned a great deal.
Such an informative tour...
Such an informative tour of such a unique place. We loved learning the history of the homes while also getting a feel for Newport from someone who clearly loves the place.
