Itinerary
Pass by: Begin your day departing from Boston in comfortable transportation, leaving the city behind as you head toward Rhode Island’s storied coastline—an easy escape into classic New England scenery.
The grandest of Newport’s mansions, The Breakers is a masterpiece of Gilded Age ambition, built by the Vanderbilt family. Inside, you’ll explore soaring ceilings, imported marble, and ocean-facing rooms that reveal how America’s wealthiest families once summered in spectacular fashion.
This iconic coastal path offers one of Newport’s most unforgettable contrasts: rugged Atlantic waves on one side and historic mansions on the other. It’s scenic, dramatic, and deeply tied to the city’s identity.
A quiet landmark with national significance, this historic church is where John F. Kennedy married Jacqueline Bouvier, adding a layer of modern American history to Newport’s colonial roots.
Home to the oldest synagogue building in the United States, this stop highlights Newport’s long-standing commitment to religious freedom and cultural diversity.
Get oriented with the city through exhibits and local insights that provide context for Newport’s maritime past and vibrant present.
Lunch time Included(Lunch excluded, at your own expenses). Enjoy free time to explore the waterfront district, lined with boutiques, cafés, and historic wharves. Whether you choose a casual lunch or a harbor-view restaurant, this is Newport at its most lively.
Self-Guided More than a mansion, Marble House was designed as a statement of wealth and influence. Its ornate interiors and oceanfront setting make it one of Newport’s most visually striking estates.
A scenic coastal route that showcases sweeping ocean views, manicured estates, and some of the most photographed stretches of road in Rhode Island.
Pass by: Once home to Doris Duke, this elegant estate represents Newport’s transition from Gilded Age to 20th-century philanthropy and style.
Pass by: A windswept park at the edge of the Atlantic, known for panoramic ocean views and its role in Newport’s outdoor and sailing culture.
Pass by: A historic estate tied closely to the Kennedy family, adding another layer of political and social history to the drive.
Pass by: A nod to Newport’s deep sailing heritage, this waterfront landmark honors one of America’s most famous female lifesavers.
Explore the exterior of this massive coastal fort, once critical to America’s coastal defense and now offering sweeping views of Narragansett Bay and Newport Harbor.
Pass by: Relax on the return journey to Boston, wrapping up a day that blends history, architecture, ocean scenery, and unhurried exploration.

Traveler reviews
The trip was very good...
The trip was very good despite the weather it was rainy windy and cold but our tour guide Jeffery made sure we were comfortable and got us there safely. The two house we saw were absolutely beautiful but because of the weather we as a group decided not to get out for outdoor activities…
Easy and Enjoyable Tour!
Jeffery my tour guide was personable and attentive. He went above and beyond in offering pickup service and made sure our group saw all Newport had to offer. I highly recommend to anyone staying in Boston wanting to see the Newport Manstions!
Family vacation
Jeffery (our guide) was very accommodating and friendly. The scenery and mansions were beautiful.
Great One Day Trip
Great trip. Our main reason for the trip was to see some of Rhode Island, but we only had one day. Got to see the highlights of the Breakers and Marble House. Unfortunately it was pouring down rain and very windy. Jeffrey did a great job of moving us around, seeing what the group wanted and letting us skip a few of the less than weather friendly sites. He expertly drove in bad weather and communicated with me starting the day prior. Picking us up a the hotel was an added bonus.
