Hours of Fun, History & Energy – Jorge Made This Tour Unforgettable!
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Amigo Tours, and Jorge made the entire day unforgettable. For 7 hours straight he kept the group entertained, informed, and engaged with nonstop stories, history, humor, and local insight. He honestly reminded me of a Spanish Casey Kasem with the smooth delivery and great personality. Jorge’s demeanor was excellent the entire tour. Friendly, organized, patient, and genuinely passionate about what he does. The tour never felt rushed or boring, and that’s impressive for such a full day experience. As a travel agent, I’m always looking for quality experiences I can confidently recommend to my clients, and this one absolutely earned a spot on my recommendation list. We loved it and will definitely be booking clients with Amigo Tours in the future. Highly recommend!
Awesome time
Luis the tour guide and Oscar the driver were a great team. Luis was very knowledgeable. He shared lots of history and gave us an awesome experience. Luis was very personable, you could tell he truly cared about people. It was my husband's birthday. He was very happy with his experience. We would definitely recommend Luis as a tour guide. And we would request him if we do another. It did rain & Coney Island was not the same experience it could have been. We will be talking about the experience for years.
Go outside Manhattan
This is a great tour to go beyond Manhattan. Our guide shared important history about each borough. I've been to NYC many times. This tour allowed to learn much more about the surrounding areas.
This is an amazing tour!
This was an exceptional tour! Such a wonderful, in-depth look at the city of New York as a whole, and the unique boroughs individually! Our tour guide Louis was funny, knowledgeable, and kind. A+ experience!
Disappointed and Left Behind
Everything was great until I was left behind in Brooklyn. I think since there was no checking in on who was going onto Coney Island or who calling Brooklyn their last stop. I was one who had paid to go onto Coney Island but was left behind. The tour guide did not ask us nor did he give us his cell number in case something happened. There were multiple stops on this tour and I was on time getting back on the bus at each stop. I desperately tried to reach Viator and Amigo Tours with no luck. I've sent messages to customer service and get no response from either company. All they want are reviews but lack in customer service. I think there is a failed process when some people stay on a tour to the end and others get off the tour sooner. I had to navigate through Brooklyn which I did not know at all and get over to lower Manhattan and figure out multiple subway rides to get back to my hotel. I should have at the minimum gotten a refund for the portion I paid for to get to Coney Island. But like I said no response from either tour company
