Please Educate your guides

Our bus driver also served as the tour guide for our Sonoma and Napa wine tasting trip. Overall, the tour itself was enjoyable, but I was very disappointed by a comment the guide made as we were leaving San Francisco. While discussing the history of Chinatown, she said that Chinese people were so discriminated against that they had to form their own community, and that “it ended up being a good thing because it gave us Chinatown.” My wife is Asian, and we both found this comment offensive. It seemed to minimize the very real discrimination and exclusion that Chinese immigrants faced by suggesting that the outcome somehow made it worthwhile. I honestly don’t think the guide intended to be offensive or even realized how her words could be interpreted, but that’s exactly why additional training on presenting sensitive historical topics would be valuable. Tour guides have an opportunity to educate visitors about history accurately and respectfully. I hope this feedback is taken constructively so future guests don’t have a similar experience.

The drivers, staff, and...

The drivers, staff, and overall experience were wonderful! A special shoutout to Danilo—he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating, and really made the day enjoyable. My only criticism would be the winery selection. In my opinion, the wineries themselves weren’t the strongest. We visited two smaller family-owned wineries and one larger winery. * Roche was nice, with attentive, generous, and welcoming staff, but the wine and grounds were fairly average. * Artesa was beautiful, although the tasting and presentation felt a bit over the top for my taste. * Madonna was very small and, honestly, not particularly memorable. I also wish there had been more time to simply relax and enjoy the wine. The experience was heavily focused on guided presentations and information, which may appeal to some people, but I personally would have preferred more free time to socialize, take in the scenery, and enjoy the tastings at our own pace. Overall, I think the tour company did an excellent job with transportation, organization, and customer service. I would just recommend considering different winery partners and/or extending the day slightly to allow for more unstructured time. It would also be helpful if guests knew which wineries were included before booking so they could make a more informed decision.

Perfect for a quick couples getaway

This was an awesome tour, we had a lot of fun. The bus was nice and very comfortable. Kristin was a great guide and very knowledgeable, giving facts throughout the day. The wineries were beautiful. Artesia was hands down the favorite!

Wine Tour

Great day at 3 different wineries in Napa and Sonoma. We also stopped briefly on the north side of the golden state bridge for a photo opportunity. They have hotdog and fruit vendors there. I would Highly recommend eating a big breakfast or bring snacks since the lunch break is around 1:30 and you have already hit two wineries. Audio did not work on our bus so couldn’t understand anything the driver said. Other than that it was Fun
