Traveler reviews
Redwoods are amazing you should go
I wish Muir Woods was longer but the trip is totally worth it. Driver’s information was great. He was a good guide.
Fun experience
Muir Woods was impressive to see. Sausalito and Pier 39 were mostly tourist areas and mostly foods.
Good tour; snarky driver
The tour was good - exactly as described. The downfall was the tour guide, Joe. While he was very knowledgeable, he had a poor attitude. He made multiple snarky comments to travelers. At the end, one traveler did not tip him and he told her to get off the bus rudely. Again, it was a nice tour, but we wish the guide would have been more pleasant/enjoyed his job a little more.
Go see the woods
The Muir Woods were outstanding. Great way to see the woods without the hassle of acquiring hard to get tickets and parking passes. Enough time in the woods, 90 minutes, to see all. Sausalito needed more time. The 60 minutes was too short to eat lunch and do any exploration of the attractive shops.
Driver was excellent and informative. Gave us tips on different trails, and explained dining options in Saucelito.
Muir Woods is a National Treasure and must see.
