Traveler reviews
Go see the woods
The Muir Woods were outstanding. Great way to see the woods without the hassle of acquiring hard to get tickets and parking passes. Enough time in the woods, 90 minutes, to see all. Sausalito needed more time. The 60 minutes was too short to eat lunch and do any exploration of the attractive shops.
Driver was excellent and informative. Gave us tips on different trails, and explained dining options in Saucelito.
Muir Woods is a National Treasure and must see.
We could not attend this...
We could not attend this due to medical conditions for my husband, but could not cancel it due to 24 h cancellation policy. But they are so helpful, they immediately processed the refund after we submitted the hospital documents. They were really kind and prompt with the situation. I highly recommend them!
Don’t miss seeing these beautiful giants
I found several tour options to Muir Woods Monument, but only Gray Line had the option not to purchase National Park tickets. We didn’t need them as we have a senior pass, saving us $30. We also could choose between a bus ride or ferry ride to return to San Francisco from Sausalito. They had 2 different pick up locations in SF for pick up too. Our guide, Don, was friendly and patient with the stragglers, not wanting to leave anyone behind. He shared some history during the drive, which he managed in a quick and safe manner. The park is a MUST SEE when in the area, especially if you have never visit such a forest. We were very pleased to find that most of the trails were made into a wooden boardwalk. We spent 90 minutes there, which was perfect.
