About this activity
Meet your guide outside Paris’ Musée d’Orsay. This popular museum displays French art dating from 1848 to 1914 and occupies a beautiful Beaux-Arts former railway station. Bypass the lines, head inside with your guide, and don your headset so you don’t miss any details during your tour. Then, wander the galleries to see the impressionist and post-impressionist art, and study the key paintings as your guide reveals how their techniques shook the art world. Learn about the artists who created them, discovering how their lives shaped their work and how they struggled for recognition. See masterpieces by Van Gogh, Renoir, and other greats, including celebrated works such as Monet’s Water Lilies and Manet’s Olympia, as you hear the stories behind them. Your tour ends inside the museum, so you can continue to explore if you wish.

We enjoyed the tour especially inside the Cathedral. A little more detail on the statues/friezes on the outside of the Cathedral would be an improvement.
