Memorable Tasmania Experience with Sonia
We had a wonderful 1.5 days with Sonia doing the Peaks, Falls & Furry and Wander Hobart Walking Tour. Sonia is incredibly knowledgeable about the history, local culture, parks and wildlife and shared so many interesting insights. Her fascinating stories greatly enriched our trip and deepened our appreciation of Tassie. She also prepared a lovely picnic with fresh local produce and took beautiful photos for us. Thanks to her sharp eyes, we even had a close encounter with an echidna — such a special moment! Sonia has a warm and delightful personality, and the whole experience was truly memorable. Highly recommended — we will definitely ask for Sonia again on our next visit.

5 Stars!
We had the most incredible day exploring Tasmania with our guide, Penny! From the lush beauty of Mount Field National Park to the breathtaking views atop Mount Wellington, every moment was thoughtfully planned and perfectly paced. Penny’s knowledge of the area, history, and wildlife made each stop so much more meaningful. The waterfalls at Mount Field were stunning, and she made sure we experienced the best trails without ever feeling rushed. The picnic she prepared was absolutely wonderful — such a special touch and a highlight of the day! Visiting Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary was unforgettable. Penny helped us make the most of our time there, sharing insights and making sure we had amazing up-close experiences. Penny is warm, professional, and clearly passionate about what she does. If you’re visiting Tasmania and want a day that feels effortless, personal, and truly memorable — ask for Penny. We can’t recommend her highly enough!
Best Day Ever!
Bob and I had a wonderful day with Daniel. He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and focused on what we were interested in seeing and doing. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire day. Daniel went out of his way to take us to try to find a platypus. We got lucky, we saw two of them. My husband is a birder and Daniel tuned into finding birds for him to see. I can't express how great this tour is. It was one of the best things we did on our entire trip to Australia. I highly recommend taking this tour while staying in Hobart.
Hoppy was a wonderful guide!
Arthur “Hoppy” Hopwood was an amazing guide! He was warm, kind, knowledgeable, and caring about our needs. He paced himself to our needs.
