Wonderful day trip to Montserrat today
Had a wonderful day trip to Montserrat today Everything was well organised and went smoothly. Javi was a great guide friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us really good recommendations on what to do during our free time. I followed his suggestion and went up by funicular and hiked back down, which was such a beautiful and enjoyable experience

A lovely tour with breathtaking views
We had a great time on our half-day Monserrat tour. Our guide, Alejandro, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Just ask and he will tell you all about the monastery and the mountain, and Barcelona as well. We spent a good amount of time in the monastery and the beautiful basilica. Unfortunately we did not have time to take the funicular to the top but we managed to hike out to the cross and back in under 40 minutes. Apparently that is a good time. The view from there is spectacular. Communication with Alejandro was easy and smooth. I highly recommend visiting Monserrat if you have time while in Barcelona. Enjoy the views and leave the driving to someone else.
