Itinerary
The Rocky Massif of Montserrat has been declared as Natural Park in 1987, and characterised by the rounded shape of its peaks. This incredible 4000-foot wonder is easily recognizable by its ''serrated'' top from which it got his name. Once you reach the monastery, you have plenty of options and your guide will always adjust to your interests. We invite you to take an easy walk of around 30 min to enjoy one of the most astonishing views of the natural park, but if you wish you can also decide to enjoy other activities that the mountain offers.
Montserrat Basilica, located in the stunning Montserrat mountain range in Catalonia, Spain, is a revered site of pilgrimage and natural beauty. Known for housing the famous statue of the Black Madonna, La Moreneta, the basilica is a significant spiritual and cultural landmark. Its breathtaking setting amidst rocky cliffs offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making it a popular destination for both worshippers and tourists alike. Visitors can explore the basilica's rich history, beautiful architecture, and serene atmosphere, all while experiencing the spiritual energy that has drawn people since 12th century.
Decide with your small group of 8 pax if you want to enjoy a ride in the rack railway that will bring you at the top of the holy mountain. Enjoy astonishing views along the way.
If you wish, you can also decide to visit the Montserrat museum. It has an important section of early paintings, spanning the 13th to the 18th centuries, with works by El Greco, Caravaggio as well as a large collection of Catalan paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries that includes major names such as Fortuny, Rusiñol, Casas, Picasso and Dalí but also of French impressionism such as Chagall, Braque, Le Corbusier, Miró, Dalí and Picasso.

Great tour for everyone in our family-children and adults
Alejandro Figueroa is an excellent guide. He paid special attention to the children, keeping them interested and engaged when other guides might have only talked to the adults. We learned so much and appreciated his kindness to the children.
