Savor the legendary flavors of Modena on this 4-hour immersive food tour. Limited to an intimate group of just 8 guests, this experience offers rare access to the hidden gems of the city, including a private family "acetaia" (vinegar cellar) usually closed to the public.
We begin the day like a local: dipping crispy gnocco fritto into a creamy cappuccino—a Modenese ritual that even amazed Netflix’s Phil Rosenthal. Next, we step into the foodie heart of the city, Mercato Albinelli, to meet the vendors and taste aged Parmigiano Reggiano and fresh ricotta.
The journey continues with a deep dive into "Black Gold." In a private family cellar, you’ll learn the secrets of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar DOP and taste different agings that take up to 25 years to perfect. We’ll conclude by sharing "social food"—tigelle paired with sparkling Lambrusco wine—and traditional sweets like the famous Torta Barozzi.
