Learn of its beginnings in 1808 and even further into the past – during Emperor Augustus’ reign and get catapulted back into the present with Maurizio Cattelan’s controversial public sculpture called L.O.V.E. and also known to the Milanese as ‘Il Dito‘ (the middle finger).

Continue onto San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore, and admire its spectacular 16th century frescoes across the ceiling and walls. Best City/Church Tour Ever
Our guide, Katerina, is an engaging, energetic, intelligent and knowledgeable guide. The tour of the Last Supper was much more meaningful due to the information she imparted. Our small group tour of the center of Milan was also extremely interesting and included a visit to a stunningly beautiful church and site of Roman ruins. Worth every euro.
