Blending history and spirits into a fascinating tour
Educational and entertaining introduction to Galway’s only legal distillery. The distillery’s story is well told and includes plenty of historical information about the local area. The samples on offer are amazing too!
Great experience
Our guide was very knowledgeable and presented in an excellent way. The experience was worth the time and money. The Irish cream was delicious!! Wish we could get the whiskey and Irish cream in the states. 😊
Whiskey & Poitín tasting
I forgot that this is a micro distillery therefore I was looking for a large facility and not the installation accessed through the bar - so if you head here and I'd recommend a visit, read the instructions on the email. :-) Our tour guide, Aoife, was very knowledgeable and passionate about the product and company. The Whiskey & Poitín tasting was a very enjoyable experience. Plenty of produce to buy in the bar afterwards.

Great Visit
We had a great visit with Micil. Our guide walked us through some of their history and their unique ingredients and methods. The tasting was fun and we had the opportunity to sample some of their other products after it was over. We bought a bottle of the Irish Cream to take home
