Theo was a great guide. Not only was he affable and gregarious, his detailed knowledge of Normandie, Brittany plus history in general made the day long trip fun and a learning experience.

We had a great day with Manon taking us through this beautiful location. We were fortunate it was a small group so we were able to ask so many questions all day and she was quite knowledgeable. It was a hot day so we were able to spread out in the comfortable van. The boat ride was beautiful and relaxing, such beautiful scenery all around us. We found a nice spot for lunch that had the menu items we were looking for. The wine tasting at the end of the tour was a great ending. We will have fond memories.

Additional information

This Médoc half-day tour is best for wine-focused travelers who want a concentrated taste of Bordeaux’s Left Bank without giving up a full day.

It’s ideal for curious wine beginners and enthusiasts interested in Cabernet Sauvignon blends, gravel-soil terroir, and classic château culture, as well as time-limited visitors staying in Bordeaux who only have a morning or afternoon for the vineyards. The small-group format suits couples, friends, and solo travelers who enjoy guided tastings, scenic Route des Châteaux drives, and engaging stories about the 1855 Classification and Médoc’s prestigious appellations.

Please note: In France, snacks are usually not provided during wine tastings to preserve the purity of the wine's flavor. We recommend having a good breakfast or lunch beforehand.
