Reviews
My friend and I did the half day St Emilion tour and had such a great day in this beautiful region of Bordeaux!! Our guide Laetitia was really knowledgeable about the wines and the history of the area. She was fun and super friendly, and also really flexible with us and our schedule. We had a great time overall. Highly recommended!
We had an excellent all day tour with Theo. He was knowledgeable and passionate about D- Day and shared many stories about the soldiers who were there. The van was comfortable and timing relaxed, yet full of information. One minor suggestion for Mer Eglise is to let people know about the Airborne Museum if they want to walk through for first hour and then have a quick lunch. We highly recommend this tour and Theo.
Valentin was an excellent guide. He was very informative and we appreciated all of the info he provided.
Additional information
This full-day Médoc tour is best for wine lovers and curious enthusiasts who want a deeper understanding of Bordeaux’s Left Bank and its iconic Cabernet Sauvignon-driven reds. It’s ideal for travelers staying in Bordeaux who are ready to spend a full day in the vineyards, visiting several classified châteaux and exploring the Route des Châteaux rather than just doing a quick tasting. The small-group format suits couples, friends, and solo travelers who enjoy guided tastings, detailed explanations of the 1855 Classification and terroir, and a relaxed, conversational pace with an expert driver-guide.
Wineries visited may vary depending on availability, season, and operational considerations while maintaining the same quality level and tasting experience.
Reusable water bottles are recommended as single-use plastic bottles are not distributed.
Please note: In France, snacks are usually not provided during wine tastings to preserve the purity of the wine's flavor. We recommend having a good breakfast or lunch beforehand.
