Know before you book
- This tour is suitable for all skill levels, including beginners.
- Participants must be comfortable in open water at night.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Know before you go
- Wear comfortable swimwear and bring a towel.
- Arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure.
- Ensure you have a valid ID for check-in.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

- Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- Minimum age 6yrs old; Maximum 70yrs old
- A maximum of 28 people per booking
- Electronic Waiver required to be signed prior to tour
- Must be able to climb up a metal ladder resting on a pontoon to get back in the boat
- Must be under 285lbs
- All participating guests must know how to swim and tread water. Snorkeling experience required.
- This is a wild and free excursion. No refunds are given in the event we do not get to view mantas the night of your tour.
- If you are unable to swim and would like to remain on the boat, we welcome you. "Ride alongs" are a paid ticket as it is a reserved seat on the boat at a discount.
- We have full discretion to refuse service to guests based on attire, behavior, physical fitness & condition
- Please arrive no later than your scheduled check in time, as we have important information to review prior to leaving the dock, as well as outfit all guests with the equipment needed for the tour.
- Restroom facilities not available on boat
- This tour is not for those with neck or back problems
- This tour is not for those with major medical conditions or heart conditions
- Guests must be physically and mentally capable of listening to and obeying safety instructions
- This is an open ocean experience at night. Young children may be scared of the dark waters and large animals.
- Children who are frighten and crying will be escorted back aboard with a guardian. No Exceptions
- Transportation NOT provided.
- This trip is not for individuals who are afraid the dark, deep water, or large animals.
- Snorkel vest provided for children 12 and under. Snorkel vest available to rent for all others.

Amazing!
WE LOVED IT! Amazing view. Manta Ray swinging by inches away. Nice equipment, my first time snorkeling my husband’s third time, per him this is the best one he ever used. My adult and teeny kids loved the experience too! Very friendly and helpful staffs. Will recommend to friends.

Definitely be ready to take underwater pictures. Don’t stress about the ocean; you hold onto a raft the entire time

This was absolutely incredible. The manta-rays were unbelievably majestic. The entire experience was amazing. The crew were friendly and kept you informed throughout the entire process. This will be an unforgettable adventure. Recommend to anyone who travels to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
Mesmerizing experience not to miss
Absolutely incredible experience! The Kona manta ray night snorkel was one of the most unforgettable things we’ve ever done in Hawaii. The crew, dive assistants Brooke, and the captain were professional, friendly, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable from start to finish. Seeing the giant manta rays glide gracefully just inches below us was surreal — peaceful, mesmerizing, and honestly magical. At certain points there were two mantas circling and doing barrel rolls right under the lights eating plankton. One even brushed my arm! The boat was well organized, equipment was clean, and the guides explained everything clearly. They clearly care about both the guests and the manta rays. If you’re visiting the Big Island, this is a must-do experience and worth every penny. Highly recommend!
Awesome Experience!
We booked a 7pm outing on May 11. The crew and guides of our boat were so fun and knowledgeable and patient with everyone. So much fun!! This is a must! I was nervous about getting into the ocean at night, but we were with so many people, and the guides were fun. Everyone had so much fun. We saw so so so many Manta Rays, and the guides shared lots of fun facts about them. Incredible experience is the best way to describe this! One of the people we went with wanted to stay on the boat while the rest of our group went in the ocean. She still had a great time and was able to get a nice experience and hang out with our group, even though she didn't get in the water. It's so nice that that option is offered.
