Traveler reviews
Bad Customer Service
The crew’s attitude was extremely disappointing. It was honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. On the way to the tour, I even transferred an extra $25 to our Uber driver just so I could get $20 in cash to tip the crew afterward. By the end of the trip, however, I decided not to leave a single dollar because I genuinely didn’t feel they had earned it. Perhaps my expectations were higher because I had such an outstanding snorkeling experience in Honolulu. That’s on me—I probably shouldn’t have expected the same level of service everywhere. Even so, in over a decade of traveling, I have never encountered a crew that felt so unprofessional in terms of customer service. They came across as people who were simply tired of their jobs and eager for the day to end, rather than people who enjoyed taking care of their guests.
See lots of wildlife with a knowledgeable crew
Colby and Seth were great. Kept everyone’s safety in the forefront and led a great snorkeling adventure. Their knowledge about the sea was apparent when we saw two bottlenose dolphins. What a great family friendly excursion.

Be very careful about this company because the boss was very rude to us. He forced us to cancel or reschedule our tour only about 15 hours in advance and forced us to make a decision within a minute.
Their own time slots aren't official
We drove from Hilo over just for this tour. About 30 minutes out they call saying they have to cancel the trip due to not enough people. Pretty bummed we asked if we can pay for the extra two people so we can go on our trip after a two hour drive just for this. They say yes and we ask can we at least get a discount? No. Pay full price. I understand a business needs to be profitable, but to treat a customer like this was very unfortunate, especially when we signed up for a slot they had on their website. Other then that the tour was fantastic. I would highly recommend if your traveling for this to confirm well before you start driving and have a back up plan so your limited time in Hawaii isn't wasted. Ethan our guide was the best! Very knowledgeable and very personal with us. Would have been one star no question, but Ethan let me know they are least have great employees. Hopefully they get treated better then their customers.
Awesome fast but comfortable trip to two snorkeling spots
Experienced captain and crew. Polite and informative and professional. We preferred the quick run this company’s boats make to the places of interest, and going close inshore to see some features. Being one of the first boats to arrive at Capt Cook before the mega catamarans and passengers arrive is a plus. And later continuing on to the virtually deserted and more rugged area off Two Step beach was a big plus.
