Explore Machu Picchu with your own private tour guide and make every minute count. This service is perfect if you already have your train, bus, and entrance tickets and just want a friendly expert to bring the site to life. Meet your guide in Aguas Calientes (hotel or train station) or directly at the main gate of Machu Picchu. From town, you’ll take the 30-minute bus up to the citadel (bus and entry tickets are not included). Your guided visit lasts about 2–3 hours. You’ll walk through temples, royal sectors, terraces, and the best viewpoints while your guide shares clear, simple stories about Inca history and daily life. We recommend booking Circuit 2 for the most complete route; if it’s sold out, Circuit 3 is next best, followed by Circuit 1. Because this is a private tour, you set the pace. Honestly book this if you want a really good tour guide
Our tour guide for Machu Picchu was Greg, and he was absolutely amazing! He knew so much about every part of Machu Picchu and explained everything with ease and enthusiasm. He also knew all of the best angles and ways to take photos, which left us with some nice memories to take home. He also planned out our time perfectly. He was really funny and told everything in an interesting way. We also booked this just a few days before our time at Machu Picchu, and we were able to get everything easily scheduled. Incredible experience in Machu Picchu
We booked a 2-day tour with Trexperience for the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu (circuit 2). Our guide Roberto was right on time to pick us up from our hotel in Aguas Calientes and take us to the bus to Machu Picchu (6am entrance). He took time to find the best picture spots in the beginning when it wasn’t so crowded - we got many amazing pictures of each of us and together as a family. He was so passionate about the Inca culture and we learned so much, we were even inspired to buy some books to continue learning! We saw the sun rise at the special spot where it lines up with the window. Such an unforgettable experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Roberto. Highly recommended to do this tour!

Roberto our guide at Machu Picchu was the best. He was super nice and gave us so much information about Machu Picchu. Bring breakfast as you don’t have time to buy one. Unfortunately the ride back to Cusco was not really good planned as we came back very late and had to walk back to the hotel because the operator took very long to book taxis. All in all the experience at Machu Picchu was very nice!
