Explore Machu Picchu with your own private tour guide and make every minute count. This service is perfect if you already have your train, bus, and entrance tickets and just want a friendly expert to bring the site to life. Meet your guide in Aguas Calientes (hotel or train station) or directly at the main gate of Machu Picchu. From town, you’ll take the 30-minute bus up to the citadel (bus and entry tickets are not included). Your guided visit lasts about 2–3 hours. You’ll walk through temples, royal sectors, terraces, and the best viewpoints while your guide shares clear, simple stories about Inca history and daily life. We recommend booking Circuit 2 for the most complete route; if it’s sold out, Circuit 3 is next best, followed by Circuit 1. Because this is a private tour, you set the pace. Gregory was a great guide. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the sight. His English was great and he was very kind. He also took plenty of stops to catch our breath and take many photos. We were able to go at our own pace without feeling rushed. We had an early tour and he even met us at the hotel in the morning to take the same bus with us.
Roberto is a great guide
We spent almost 4 days with Roberto starting from Cusco and ending with Machu Picchu. He never disappointed. Always went above our expectations to take care of minor details. For example he got us front seats for motion sickness issues on the bus to Machu Picchu even though we were back in line. We told him that we will take the next one but he made it happen. He spent more than 2 hours on circuit 3 with us. Gave us lot of time to take pictures and gave good descriptions at each site. I would highly recommend his services.

Perfect day with a perfect guide
We did two tours back to back, circuits 1 and 3. Our guide, Samuel, was amazing. The communications before and after were easy and we always knew what was happening. He was very knowledgeable about Machu Picchu and Peru. He provided fantastic recommendations for things to do and where to eat after the tour also. He met us at our hotel and made sure the whole day went smoothly. He was very kind and made sure we were safe and never felt rushed. I highly recommend this company and especially Samuel!
